More InformationA piece of old Berlin
Charming cobbled streets define the tranquil Arndtstrasse over its length of just under 500 metres. It borders the idyllic Chamissoplatz, a square that features a children’s playground and hosts an organic food market every Saturday. Even today, the peaceful residential street gives a picture-book impression of Old Berlin, with its houses from the Wilhelminian period still fully preserved. Running parallel is Bergmannstrasse with its delicatessens, the Marheineke Markthalle and popular restaurants and cafes. From here it is just a short hop to the attractive Viktoriapark or to the now disused Tempelhof airport, which is a wonderfully relaxing place to play with the children or go rollerblading.
Optimum transport connections: tube and bus stations are in the direct vicinity, while regional and main line trains as well as the motorway are all only three kilometres away.
